Jailer Box Office Collection Day 8: Rajinikanth Starrer Marks An Unstoppable Record; Smoothly Sails Into Second Week With Steady Numbers

‘Jailer’ stars Rajinikanth in the lead role and is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is produced by Sun Pictures with the music score given by Anirudh Ranvichander. ‘Jailer’ was released on August 10, and instantly was touted to be a blockbuster hit with the opening day collection of the film. Now, the venture has completed almost two week’s run and is still minting positive numbers at the box office.

Critics and fans are extremely satisfied with the plotline and performance of the cast. ‘Jailer’ is not winning critically but also in terms of collection. The film smashed the record of the 2022-Tamil starrer ‘Vikram’ and collected a whopping Rs 49 Crores in India on Day 1. Alone in Tamil Nadu, the film earned Rs 29 Crore on its opening day.

The film is said to have collected Rs 470 Crore worldwide. Earlier, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ had managed to collect Rs 410 Crore worldwide. It is expected that the official box office report of the film will be released soon by the makers. ‘Jailer’ collected Rs 10 Crore on Day 8, thus taking the total collection to be around Rs 235.65 Crore in India.

The film also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. ‘Jailer’ also has an iconic cameo of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.
