OMG 2 Box Office Collection Day 6: Akshay Kumar Starrer Expected To Enter Rs 100 Cr Club; Gadar 2 Takes Lead With Huge Margin

‘OMG 2’ box office collection Day 6: Akshay Kumar led ‘OMG 2’ is raking decent numbers at the box office. The film was applauded for its informative plotline but is way behind Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2.' ‘OMG 2’ witnessed a fantastic collection record on Independence Day, but on Wednesday the film saw a major drop. The film is directed by Amit Rai and also stars Yami Gautam in a pivotal role.

According to a report in Sacnilk.com ‘OMG 2’ collected Rs 7.75 Crore on Day 6. The total domestic collection of the film stands at Rs 80 Crore. The film opened alongside Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ which has already crossed the Rs 250 Crore mark in India. ‘OMG 2’ earned Rs 10.26 Crore on day one, followed by Rs 17.55 Crore during its first Weekend.

However, it saw a small fall on Monday, and raked Rs 12 Crore, but revived itself and earned Rs 17 Crore on Independence Day. Looking at the records, the film will cross the Rs 100 Crore mark by this weekend.

‘OMG 2’ marked Akshay Kumar’s 10th Independence Day release. The film was passed by the Central Board of Film Certification with an ‘A’ certificate. In the film, Akshay Kumar has portrayed the role of a messenger of Lord Shiva, Pankaj Tripathi as an ardent Shiva devotee, and Yami Gautam as a lawyer.
