Jailer Box Office Collection Day 19: The latest film of legendary actor Rajinikanth, titled 'Jailer', is continuously maintaining its impressive performance in cinemas even during its second week. Numerous theatres around the world are still witnessing full houses. On its 19th day of screening, the film is projected to have amassed a net total of Rs 3 crore in India. Despite representing a noticeable drop from its collection on Sunday (August 27), this figure remains respectable for a weekday. In Tamil Nadu alone, the movie has surged beyond the mark of Rs 175 crore.
Amid great excitement, 'Jailer' made its theatrical debut on August 10. Now, the movie is steadily progressing towards the impressive milestone of accumulating a worldwide gross of Rs 600 crore.
Over the course of the past 19 days, 'Jailer' has demolished numerous box office records. The movie is believed to have raked in around Rs 3 crore on Monday, August 28. This brings the cumulative collection over the 19-day period to a net total of Rs 319.35 crore in India. On Monday, the film achieved an overall occupancy rate of 25.56 per cent.
During the morning shows, the proportion of filled seats stood at 16.65 per cent, which rose to 22.36 per cent during the afternoon, further climbed to 30.11 per cent in the evening, and peaked at 33.10 per cent during the night screenings.
According to insights from trade analyst Ramesh Bala, 'Jailer' has surpassed the milestone of Rs 175 crore (gross) in Tamil Nadu. The movie is anticipated to sustain its impressive performance for a few additional weeks, given the absence of significant releases until Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' hits theatres on September 7.
