Jailer Box Office Collection Day 17: Rajinikanth's movie 'Jailer' has successfully completed its 17th day in cinemas, accumulating an approximate Rs 5.5 crore nett across all languages on Saturday. Based on a Sacnilk.com report, the total Indian collection of 'Jailer' has now reached Rs 307.7 crore nett. Renowned film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan indicated that the film is on the brink of crossing the Rs 600 crore mark in global earnings.
The Tamil movie, which has been dubbed in Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu, hit the screens on August 10. Following a collection of Rs 235.85 crore nett during its initial week and Rs 62.95 crore in the second week, ‘Jailer’ garnered Rs 3.4 crore nett on its third Friday.
The movie saw an uptick in its numbers on the third Saturday, with an estimated collection of Rs 5.5 crore nett across all languages in India, according to early reports from Sacnilk.com. The films total collection in India now stands at Rs 307.70 crore with an overall occupancy rate of 50.14 per cent recorded on August 26.
The film's global figures are equally remarkable. Just last week, ‘Jailer’ became the third Tamil movie to cross the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide, following in the footsteps of ‘2.0’ (2018) and ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ (2022).

‘Jailer’ has been directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who is renowned for his expertise in crafting action-packed thrillers. In the movie, Rajinikanth takes on the titular character, portraying a jailer with a mission. The film also stars Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, along with a notable ensemble cast including Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, and several others in significant roles.

Additionally, actor Jackie Shroff also featured in the film. ‘Jailer’ marks a reunion between Rajinikanth and Jackie Shroff after a gap of 36 years, since their previous collaboration in the movie ‘Uttar Dakshin.’
