Jailer Box Office Collection Day 9: 'Jailer,' led by South superstar Rajinikanth, is drawing crowds back to cinemas and achieving an exceptional run every day at the box office. As reported by Sun Pictures, the film has garnered a staggering sum of more than Rs 375 crore globally within a week and still continues to maintain its robust performance. The movie's momentum remains steadfast, as it persists in earning impressive double-digit figures regularly. Undoubtedly, this serves as a remarkable indicator of 'Jailer's successful theatrical journey.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, 'Jailer' made its theatrical debut on August 10. The movie was showcased across the cinemas in various languages. As per sources, the film is projected to have accumulated approximately Rs 9 crore net on its ninth day of screening in India. By August 18, the movie's cumulative collection over the course of nine days stands at Rs 244.85 crore in the domestic market, coupled with a noteworthy occupancy rate of 34.53 per cent.
In addition to the Indian market, 'Jailer' is also generating substantial revenue in regions such as the UAE, US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, and various other corners of the world.

'Jailer' stands as a commercial action-packed spectacle, not just directed but also penned by Dilipkumar. Apart from Rajinikanth, the cast also includes pivotal figures like Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, and Tamannaah. Additionally, Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff make cameo appearances in the film.
The movie boasted a musical score crafted by Anirudh Ravichander. VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Sunil, Mirna Menon, Rithvik, and a host of other actors constituted the ensemble of supporting roles.
At the age of 72, Rajinikanth, celebrated for his portrayals in movies like 'Robot' and 'Kaala,' assumed the character of Muthu Tiger Pandian in 'Jailer.' In this role, he embodied a retired police officer and former prison overseer. Muthu is also a grandfather to a spirited young boy and is known for his unique methods of dealing with villains, involving beheadings and fatal stabbings.
His expertise lies in eliminating villains who pose a threat to his family's safety. Muthu also taps into an extensive network of dubious contacts, portrayed by a diverse group of actors and notable personalities, who aid him in eliminating these potential dangers.
