Jailer Box Office Collection Day 18: The movie 'Jailer' starring South superstar Rajinikanth is enjoying an extraordinary run at the box office and is steadily approaching the impressive milestone of Rs 600 crores globally. On its third Sunday (August 27) in cinemas, 'Jailer' is believed to have garnered around Rs 7.50 crore net within India. This action-packed entertainment spectacle is maintaining its strong presence in theatres even in its third week. The film is slated to enjoy an uninterrupted screening until Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' arrives in theatres on September 7.

Amid high anticipation, 'Jailer' made its theatrical debut on August 10. Since its premiere, the movie has been shattering numerous box office records. In its second week of theatrical screening too, 'Jailer' maintained a remarkable pace at the box office. On August 27, it is approximated that the movie secured a net collection of Rs 7.50 crore in India.

The cumulative earnings over the course of 18 days have reached Rs 315.95 crore in net collection at the domestic box office. On August 17, the movie registered a theatre occupancy rate of 57.13 per cent.

In the morning screenings, the percentage of occupied seats was noted at 37.96 per cent, which increased to 67.40 per cent during the afternoon and further elevated to 72.91 per cent in the evening. Nevertheless, the occupancy rate decreased to 50.24 per cent during the nighttime showings.

Crafted and helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, 'Jailer' is a mainstream action-packed spectacle showcasing Rajinikanth in the role of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. The movie also stars Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, and Vasanth Ravi in prominent roles. Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff made dynamic cameo appearances within the film.
