Rajinikanth’s latest film 'Jailer' hit the theatres on August 10, 2023 and it has been doing wonders at the Box Office. The film, co-starring Mohanlal, has entered the 100 crore club on day 3 of its theatrical release. Rajinikanth enjoys a cult following among his fans who affectionately call him 'Thalaivar'. Recently, 'Jailer' was paused in a Mumbai theater as a result of superstar’s fans applauding the superstar during his whistle-worthy entering moment.
When the 72-year-old made his spectacular entrance as Muthuvel Pandian, the audience rose up from their seats and started dancing due to which the movie was resumed for a while.

Not only in Mumbai, the screening of 'Jailer' was also interrupted in Chennai because the actor's fans celebrated the movie's release right next to the screen. Fans were forced to leave the theatre midway. The identical video instantly went viral on social media.

The 2023 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film 'Jailer' has been directed by Nelson and produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. Apart from Rajinikanth, 'Jailer' also stars Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Sunil, Mirnaa Menon in supporting roles. Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar and Tamannaah Bhatia make cameo appearances.

Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, 'Jailer' crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India on its third day. The movie generated an amazing Rs 48.35 crore on its opening day. According to the trading portal Sacnilk, it raked in Rs 25.75 crore and Rs 35 crore on second and third day, respectively. At this time, the total amount collected of Jailer stands at Rs 109.10 crores.
