On Tuesday, Javed Akhtar announced that he and Salim Khan will reunite to write a new movie, marking their first collaboration in years. The news came during the trailer launch of the docuseries Angry Young Men, which celebrates the iconic screenwriting duo's impact on Indian cinema. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video from August 20, 2024.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Javed Akhtar told the reporters, “Now, let me tell you that we are going to write. I've spoken to him 'Bas ek aur picture hum likhenge saath mein'. Uss zamane mein bhi humari price zyada thi, iss zamane mein toh bohot zyada hogi, woh dekh lijiyega.”
