‘Jawan’ hit the theatres on September 7, 2023. The movie got a blockbuster response soon after its theatrical release. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. ‘Jawan’ has created a never-seen-before buzz across the globe, as evident from the audience’s reactions surfacing on social media. The movie also has cameo appearances of actors Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt. As Jawan's successful theatrical run continues, reports state that Netflix is leading in the race to acquire its OTT rights.

According to a report in India Today, 'Jawan' is likely to be streamed on Netflix. The movie will have its OTT debut after a couple of months of its theatrical run. It is pertinent to note that there has been no official confirmation regarding the same.

Jawan Satellite Reports

The satellite rights of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer have been sold for Rs 250 crore. This includes its digital rights, satellite and music rights.

According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Jawan grossed Rs 75 crore in India and Rs 150 crore worldwide. The movie got a blockbuster response from the audience as well as critics alike. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reviewed Shah Rukh Khan-starrer as a ‘mega-blockbuster’.
