Jigra Box Office Collection Day 1: Vasan Bala's emotional-action film, debuted in theaters this Friday (October 11). Starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, the movie has divided critics, with some praising it while others remain unimpressed. This mixed response is reflected in its opening day box office performance, which was decent despite the festive holidays. Featuring Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina and Manoj Pahwa, Jigra earned approximately ₹4.50 crore on its first day.

Jigra Box Office Report

On its opening day, Jigra earned approximately ₹4.55 crore in India across all languages, with early estimates indicating ₹4.2 crore from Hindi and ₹0.05 crore from Telugu. The film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 20.13% on Friday, October 11, 2024, with morning shows at 10.48%, afternoon at 19.17%, evening at 18.66%, and night shows rising to 32.19%. Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is produced by Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions.

Despite a grand promotional event for the Telugu dub featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Rana Daggubati, the initial box office figures may disappoint the makers. However, there is hope that positive word of mouth and the Dussehra festival will boost ticket sales. Audience reactions have been largely positive, with particular acclaim for Alia Bhatt's performance.

Jigra Budget

The film has an overall budget of ₹90 crores, which includes ₹80 crores for production and ₹10 crores for prints and advertising. The film is set to release on approximately 2,000 screens across India. To be considered a hit, Jigra reportedly needs to earn ₹100 crores, while ₹90 crores would classify it as an average performer.
