Jigra Box Office Collection Day 3:  Alia Bhatt can be seen doing mass action scenes in her latest film Jigra. The movie talks about the deep relationship of brother and sister. It got mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. But Alia’s action scenes were highly praised. Despite box office clashes with Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan and Rajkummar Rao, Tripti Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Jigra maintained a strong pace. It was released in theatres on October 11 (Friday).

As per Sacnilk, Alia Bhatt’s movie earned Rs 5.65 crore on Day 3. The net collection of Jigra stands at Rs 18.65 crore. It had an overall 26.57 per cent Hindi occupancy in theatres. It had 13.34 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 31.28 per cent in afternoon shows, 35.43 per cent in evening shows and 26.22 per cent in night shows. 

About Jigra

The movie delves into the life of a sister who fights against the world to protect her younger brother from a fake case. Directed by Vasan Bala, the action drama was made on a budget of Rs 90 crore. Jigra also stars Vedang Raina, Rahul Ravindran, Manoj Pahwa and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in key roles. 

On October 12, Divya Khossla slammed Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar for showcasing false box office numbers. She took to her Instagram story and wrote “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra's show. The theater was empty... Alia Bhatt bought her own tickets and announced fake collections. Why is paid media silent?”
