In a surprise move, Warner Bros. has released a second trailer for the highly anticipated DC film, Joker: Folie à Deux, just three months after the first trailer was unveiled. The new trailer, which dropped on July 23, offers another glimpse into the upcoming sequel, which sees Joaquin Phoenix reprising his critically acclaimed role as the complex and iconic DC villain, the Joker.

This time around, he will be joined by global pop sensation Lady Gaga, who takes on the role of Harley Quinn, the Joker's trusted sidekick and partner-in-crime, also known as Arthur Fleck. The film promises to be an exciting and thrilling ride, exploring the intricate and tumultuous relationship between these two beloved characters.
According to the trailer, Joker: Folie à Deux continues the story of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) in Arkham, struggling with his Joker persona. He meets Harleen Quinzel (Lady Gaga) and discovers his musical side, leading to a dark and self-discovering journey.

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios present Joker: Folie à Deux, a musical psychological thriller directed by Todd Phillips and co-written with Scott Silver. This highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 critically acclaimed film Joker, stars Joaquin Phoenix reprising his iconic role as the Joker, alongside Lady Gaga as his love interest, Harley Quinn.
The film also features returning cast member Zazie Beetz, as well as new additions Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener, in a story inspired by DC Comics characters. Joint Effort joins as a producing partner, bringing this thrilling and dark musical tale to life.
