Jr NTR fans are in for a treat, as the actor has exciting news about his upcoming projects. Recently, he attended the success meet of Mad Square, where he shared insights into his future films and addressed the speculation surrounding Devara's sequel. Quelling rumors that the project had been shelved, Jr NTR confirmed that Devara Part 2 is indeed moving forward, much to the relief and delight of his fans. As the star of the highly successful film RRR, Jr NTR's upcoming projects are eagerly anticipated and this confirmation will likely generate significant buzz in the entertainment industry.

According to a report in News18, Jr NTR said in a conversation with the audience, “Some are saying that Devara 2 will not happen. I have to say that the sequel is definitely happening. We are just facing a small pause due to the Prasanth Neel project.”

About Devara: Devara: Part 1 hit the theatres worldwide on September 27, 2024, and was released in various formats, including standard, IMAX, 4DX and more. The movie garnered mixed reviews from critics but achieved significant commercial success, grossing between Rs 408-521 crores on a budget of Rs 200-300 crores. This impressive box office performance made it the third-highest-grossing Telugu film of 2024, the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film of the year, and the eighth-highest-grossing Telugu film of all time.
