Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor have been collaborating for the first time onscreen in an upcoming romantic movie. The production house of the movie has announced the news on their social media. The untitled film will focus on ‘love, likes and everything in between’. The new-age romantic drama will be directed by Advait Chandan. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s romantic movie will be releasing on February 7, 2024. An animated poster of the movie has been revealed which features a girl taking a selfie with a boy while sitting on the ground. The makers shared the poster on Instagram and wrote, “SAVE THE DATE!!! 7-2-25 #junaidkhan @advaitchandan @khushi05k @archanakalpathi @aishwaryakalpathi @fuhsephantom @agsentertainment @zeestudiosofficial.”
Janhvi Kapoor was quick to cheer for her younger sister Khushi as she commented on the post, “U so cute like a laddoo.” In another comment, she wrote “Can’t wait.” Several netizens shared their views on the announcement. Khushi Kapoor has made her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The movie was released on Netflix in 2023 and received mixed reviews. It also starred Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Aditi Saigal, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda in pivotal roles.
On the other hand, Junaid Khan made his Bollywood debut with 2024 Maharaj. The movie was released on Netflix and received praise from the audience and critics. It also featured Sharvari Wagh, Shalini Pandey, Jaideep Ahlawat, Reshham Sahaani, Sameer Paranjape and Mark Bennington in prominent roles.
