Jurassic World is one of the oldest and most popular franchises. The fourth film of the Jurassic World series Jurassic World Rebirth got its release date. It stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali in the leads. The highly anticipated movie has been directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp. It is the seventh instalment overall in the Jurassic Park film series. The first film of the franchise was Jurassic Park which released in 1993 and is considered one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. 

About Jurassic World Rebirth

The story will showcase the time after Jurassic World Dominion when scientists went on an expedition in isolated equatorial regions to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures to get a medical breakthrough. The movie stars Scarlett Johansson as Zora Bennett, who has been hired to lead a team to extract DNA from the three largest remaining dinosaur species. Mahershala Ali plays the role of Duncan Kincaid, who is Zora’s partner. Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis, who is a palaeontologist. It also stars Rupert Friend as Martin Krebs and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Reuben Delgado in supporting roles. 

In the first poster, Bailey can be seen along with Scarlett Johansson in a dense forest. It seems they are scientists who went on an expedition for research work. Jurassic World Rebirth will be released in theatres on 2nd July 2025. 

Announcing the movie on Instagram, Universal Pictures wrote “A new era is born. #JurassicWorldRebirth.” Lead actor Jonathan Bailey announced the news on his Instagram account by sharing the first look and the release date of the movie. He wrote, “Jurassic World: Rebirth (ft. Dr Henry Loomis) 2/07/25.”
