Kalki 2898 AD is all set to hit the theatres on June 27, 2024. The movie stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The advance booking for the film is already open and the movie has been performing well at the ticket windows. According to a report from Sacnilk.com, the film has already generated over Rs 8 crore in advance bookings for its opening day.

Kalki 2898 AD has seen impressive ticket sales across various languages and formats. In Telugu, a total of 265,035 tickets have been sold for 1,726 shows, bringing in a gross revenue of Rs 7.7 crore from 3D, 2D, and IMAX 3D screenings. The Hindi version has sold 13,833 tickets for 1,738 shows, grossing Rs 43.6 lakh across the same formats. In Tamil, the film has sold 2,925 tickets for 278 shows, earning Rs 5.12 lakh gross from 3D and 2D screenings.
The Kannada version has sold 101 tickets for 32 shows, grossing Rs 23,300, while the Malayalam version has sold just one ticket for a single show, grossing Rs 300. Both the Kannada and Malayalam figures are for 2D screenings only. Overall, at the time of this report, the film has sold a total of 2,81,895 tickets for 3,775 shows across India, grossing Rs 8.22 crore.
First announced in February 2020, Kalki faced a year's delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming began in July 2021 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, and continued intermittently over three years, wrapping up in March 2024. With a production budget of Rs 600 crore (US$72 million), Kalki is one of India's most expensive films. The film features music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic, production design by Nitin Zihani Choudhary, and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
Originally set for a 9 May 2024 release, it was postponed due to the Indian general election and is now slated for a worldwide release on June, 2024 in IMAX, 3D, and other formats.
