Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD has been getting all the appreciation across the country for its gripping storyline and powerful performances by the notable actor. Nag Ashwin's directorial kept a mystery in the movie as they showed Lord Krishna in it but without revealing the face. Throughout the film, Lord Krishna’s silhouette has been shown which made fans curious about the actor. The role was played by none other than Tamil star Krishnakumar also known as KK and Arjun Das lent the voice to Lord Krishna's character in Kalki 2898 AD.
Krishnakumar took to his Instagram account and wrote “#kalki2898ad An absolute honour to be able to open an epic film, playing such a special character. Grateful.”
On the other hand, Arjun Das said “All the credit should go only and only to @nag_ashwin & @swapnaduttchalasani #Kalki2898AD (Telugu & Hindi).”

Krishnakumar made his debut with Kadhalagi in 2010. The Tamil film also starred Srushti Dange, Prakash Raj, George Maryan, Ajay and Balasubramanian in significant roles. The romantic drama was directed by KR Vishwa.
On the other hand, Arjun Das is known for his work in Butta Bomma, Vikram, Andhaghaaram, Blood and Chocolate, Perumaan, Vidaa Muyarchi, Dange, Aneethi and Rasavathi to name a few.

Notably, Kalki 2898 AD featured Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Prabhas as Bhairava, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as Sumathi, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas and Keerthy Suresh as Bujji. Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, Ram Gopal Varma, Mrunal Thakur and SS Rajamouli made cameos in Nag Ashwin's directorial. It was released in theatres on 27th June in multiple languages. The film has received positive reviews for the second half. As per reports, two popular OTT platforms have acquired digital streaming rights of Kalki 2898 AD. According to Filmibeat, Netflix secured the Hindi version of the Prabhas starrer and Amazon Prime Video purchased the rights for the southern languages.
