The much-awaited film of the year Kalki 2898 AD is all set to hit the theatres today. Ahead of the release of the movie, director Nag Ashwin and lead actor Prabhas conducted a live session on Instagram and shared some interesting details about the film. The actor and director duo confirmed the cameos of two superstars of the South Indian film industry. 

During the live interaction, Nag Ashwin and Prabhas revealed that Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda are going to make special appearances in Kalki 2898 AD. However, they didn’t unveil the names of the characters but thanked them in the session for being part of the movie. Nag said, “Vijay and Dulquer are graciously part of Kalki”. Later, Prabhas said, “Thank you Vijay, Thank you Dulquer, you made our film more bigger.”

The science-fiction-action movie is based on Hindu scriptures and will showcase the birth of the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu. The movie features Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Prabhas as Bhairava, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as Sumathi, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas and Keerthy Suresh as Bujji. As per reports, two popular OTT platforms have acquired digital streaming rights. According to Filmibeat, Netflix secured the Hindi version of the movie and Amazon Prime Video purchased the rights for the southern languages. Reports also suggest that tickets are being sold for Rs 2,300 in big cities like Mumbai.
