As fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the much-anticipated movie of the year Kalki 2898 AD; yesterday the makers only dropped the audio of its first released song Bhairava Anthem. Composed by Santosh Narayanan, the Bhairava Anthem is a mix of Punjabi and Telugu lyrics. Diljit Dosanjh and Deepak Blue have lent their voice to the song. However, not only the admirers but Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, who is also an essential part of the movie shared that he was waiting for the release of the song. Director Nag Ashwin thanked him for being patient and also appreciated fans for understanding the delay.
On Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan took to his ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) said ‘patiently waiting ..’ for the song’s video. Earlier, the makers tweeted “The wait is almost over for the #BhairavaAnthem. Just a little longer, and you can enjoy it. In the meantime, listen to it on your favourite music streaming platforms! #Prabhas x @diljitdosanjh Full Video Song out Tomorrow at 11 AM.” Director Nag Ashwin replied to Bachchan’s tweet and wrote “Thank you sir and everyone else for your patience... Things happen, delays happen...no excuses, but the whole team is really working non stop....appreciate the support and understanding... #bhairavaanthem uploading.”

In the video, both Prabhas and Diljit Dosanjh looked similar in black attire. Both the stars can be seen together grooving to the beats of the song. The movie stars Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Dulquer Salmaan, Disha Patani, Rana Daggubati, Saswata Chatterjee, and Keerthy Suresh in significant roles. The trailer of the movie showcased the futuristic aspect of Mahabharata which has been set against the backdrop of Kaashi. The movie is all set to release in theatres on 27th June.

Earlier in an interview with Deadline, Prabhas said “The whole film is made for international audiences. That’s why it’s the highest budget and we’ve got the best actors in the country. We were hearing for the first time people calling me ‘pan-Indian’. That doesn’t really affect me but it’s a good feeling to think that people around the country like me now.”
