The highly anticipated movie of the year Kalki 2898 AD is all set to release in theatres on 27th June. Prabhas starrer sci-fi promises to captivate international audiences with its best cinematic experience. The film is made on a high budget as it has a renowned ensemble cast like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Dulquer Salmaan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rana Daggubati, and Saswata Chatterjee. The movie has been inspired by the Hindu scriptures and it is set against the backdrop of 2898 AD. 

Recently, Prabhas stated that the movie is made for the global audience and includes the best actors in the country. In an interview with Deadline, He said “The whole film is made for international audiences. That’s why it’s the highest budget and we’ve got the best actors in the country. We were hearing for the first time people calling me ‘pan-Indian’. That doesn’t really affect me but it’s a good feeling to think that people around the country like me now.”

Earlier, Prabhas also shared his experience working with veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. In an interview with PTI, the actor said “I’m thankful to Amitabh sir and Kamal sir as they agreed to be part of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. They both have inspired whole India. I’m very lucky to act with these two legends.”

“I think Amitabh sir, who hails from North India, has earned a huge fan base in the South and we all should be proud of him. Kamal sir is also a big star. They both have fans all over India,” he added.

Nag Ashwin’s directorial Kalki 2898 AD marks the first collaboration of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. On the other hand, Deepika and Amitabh Bachchan have earlier worked in Shoojit Sircar’s 2015 film Piku. Apart from Kalki, the Piku stars will also collaborate in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie The Intern.
