About Kalki 2898 AD
Kalki 2898 AD is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language epic science fiction film directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies. Primarily shot in Telugu with some scenes re-shot in Hindi, the film features Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas in dual roles, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Inspired by Hindu mythology, this first installment in the planned Kalki Cinematic Universe is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD. The plot revolves around a select few on a mission to save the unborn child, Kalki, of SUM-80, a lab subject.
