Kalki 2898 AD Twitter Review: Directed by Nag Ashwin, the much-awaited film starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, received positive response. The film promising an epic sci-fi journey, is out in theaters. This post-apocalyptic saga, inspired by Hindu scriptures, is set in the dystopian future of 2898 AD, where a divine being descends to Earth to battle formidable evil forces. The first show, played in a US and Indian theatre, received a thunderous response, with fans particularly thrilled by Prabhas' performance.

After watching Kalki 2898 AD, fans praised the perfect storyline, noting that the visuals and setup are captivating and unlike anything seen in Indian cinema. The plot is interesting, though the screenplay is mostly good. Prabhas plays a fun character but has limited screen time. With a production budget exceeding Rs 600 crore (US$75 million), it is the most expensive Indian film ever made. Announced in February 2020, the film's production faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
