Kalvan Twitter Review: Tamil drama featuring GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role is garnering positive response from audiences and critics. Directed by PV Shankar, the movie also stars Bharathiraja, Ivana, and Dheena in significant roles. Produced by G. Dilli Babu under the Axess Film Factory production banner, Kalvan hit theaters on April 4. The trailer kicks off with a news bulletin reporting the entry of a herd of elephants into the Panamkaadu forests from the Kadambur forest. Consequently, the villagers of Iruttipalayam are instructed to refrain from entering the forests. This situation appears to provide an opportune moment for GV Prakash and Dheena's characters to carry out their 'plans,' which are vaguely depicted in the trailer. As expected, the main characters soon encounter the elephant herd.

Described as a rural drama, 'Kalvan' offers a lively first half followed by a poignant second half. The film garners praise for its comedic elements in the initial part and adventurous sequences in the latter half. Penned by Shankar and Ramesh Aiyappan, 'Kalvarn' also includes G Gnanasambandam and Vinoth Munna in the cast. Cinematography duties for the film are undertaken by Shankar himself, while editing is handled by Raymond Derrick Crasta. The songs are crafted by GV Prakash Kumar, with the music score composed by Revaa. Stunt sequences in the movie are directed by S. Dhilip Kumar, while CGI is managed by Resol FX. Sound and mixing are supervised by Sync Cinema, and DI is overseen by Varna Digital Studios.
