Kangana Ranaut recently came forward in support of the Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon. As per the CCTV footage that went viral across social media, Raveena was harassed by people after a clash broke out outside her Mumbai residence regarding parking issues. Recently turned politician Kangana took to her Instagram stories and called this incident ‘alarming’. She further stated that the attackers should be reprimanded. 

While taking to her Instagram stories, Kangana wrote “What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming; had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group, she would have been lynched; we condemn such road rage outbursts; those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behaviour.”

Raveena Tandon still hasn’t given an official statement but shared the police’s official statement on her social media accounts. On June 02, Mumbai Police released an official statement which said, “Tandon's driver was trying to reverse the car to park it, and three people from a family felt that they would get hit. After the argument, both parties left, and later, police reached the spot and questioned Tandon's staff. The other party was also called to the Police station. Both parties denied making any complaints.”

On the work front, Kangana is busy with Lok Sabha polls as she is contesting as a BJP candidate from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi. On the other hand, she will be next seen in Emergency, which is based on the life of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. It also stars Milind Soman, Vishak Nair, Bhumika Chawla, Mahima Chaudhry, Shreyas Talpade, and Anupam Kher in significant roles. 

Whereas, Tandon will appear in Welcome to the Jungle directed by Ahmed Khan. The film also features Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles. The movie is slated to be released on 25th December 2024.
