Actress Kangana Ranaut misinterpreted a satirical post regarding the Anti-Cheat Bill, wrongly assuming it targeted infidelity in relationships. This bill, passed in the Lok Sabha earlier in February, aims to address cheating and other unfair practices in public examinations. The misunderstood post shared by Kangana prompted her to propose measures such as prohibiting sexual activity among school-going children and implementing penalties for individuals who abandon their partners after a long period of dating.

What Kangana Did?

Mistakenly considering the satirical post about the Anti-Cheat Bill to be genuine news, Kangana took to Instagram Stories, labeling it as 'the most needed bill'. Additionally, she made a comment directed towards 'star wives', suggesting they should express gratitude to the government for the bill. Kangana also believed it to be a significant measure for ensuring women's safety and upholding the institution of marriage. However, after realisation, she deleted these posts.

Kangana shared a screenshot of the satirical note with the caption, "Ahem ahem, welcome to Ram Rajya, all-star wives can thank this government" accompanied by three heart emojis and folded hands emojis. Further it claimed, "This was the most needed bill for the safety of young vulnerable women, who fall for the fake promises of marriage and even for the sanctity of the institution of marriage, in the age of dating and hookup apps behaving immoral, frivolous, inconsistent and simply perverted has become cool, some remand in jail and fine in crores should fix the urge of tinger and ginger."

In the elaborated post, the Tejas actress called for the prohibition of 'hookups and polygamy,' advocating for stringent consequences, such as jail time and substantial fines, for individuals involved in deceitful behaviour within relationships. She also urged the government to implement regulations mandating financial support for women abandoned by their partners after prolonged courtship along with setting an age limit for sexual intercourse similar to the legal age for marriage.
