Nandini CM, a 24-year-old Kannada actress, was found dead at her paying guest house in Bengaluru near the Kengeri area on Monday. The actress allegedly died by suicide after battling with depression and personal issues for a long time. Police also found a note written by the actress in which she revealed the reason behind taking this grievous step. The letter has not been released by the officials yet. Nandini is best known for her roles in Jeeva Hoovagide Sangharsha and Neenade Naa. Her sudden death shocked the entire Tamil and Kannada film industry, along with her fans and well-wishers.

Tragically enough, the actress recently shot a suicide scene in her ongoing Tamil serial Gouri. According to reports, the actress was not ready to 'settle down' and was under too much pressure. As per reports, a police official revealed, "Further details will be shared once the investigation progresses".

Nandini CM’s co-star Swetha Subramanian penned down an emotional post, remembering the actress. She wrote, “Nandhini… RIP Sathya’s DURGA. You always used to say, “Swetha akka, we need to post nice pictures… beautifully dressed with good makeup,” and you never even allowed me to share these pics and moments but now —I never imagined those simple words spoken on our set would turn into such a painful memory.”

She further added, “I only wish you had held on a little longer— We tried, Nandhini, we cared, we loved you deeply, but you chose a heavy path… and this loss has left our hearts and our workplace shattered beyond words. Seeing you go was indigestible.”

Swetha also stated, “Suicide is not the answer—please seek help, speak up, and hold on when things feel unbearable; you are never alone.”

Nandini CM was originally from the Ballari district in Karnataka, where she completed her pre-university course before moving to Bengaluru to pursue engineering. Soon after, she dropped out of college and started acting full-time. When it comes to her personal life, there were constant arguments between Nandini and her family members after her father passed away. Her family wanted her to pursue a government job, but Nandini wanted to follow her passion.

Nandini kickstarted her acting journey in 2019 after receiving training in Rajarajeshwari Nagar. The late actress appeared in many popular Kannada serials. She was currently playing the lead role in the Tamil serial Gauri, in which she portrayed the dual characters of Kanaka and Durga.
