Karan Johar is one of the most popular and ambitious director-producers in Bollywood. Always in the limelight for his professional front or for his personal feuds with several personalities inside the glamorous world, Karan Johar never misses the chance to steal attention. His feud with actress Kangana Ranaut has always been the talk of the town since 2017. Kangana Ranaut openly called him ‘flag bearer of nepotism’ on his talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’. Despite six years of continuous attacks on social media, Karan Johar recently revealed that he is excited to watch Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film ‘Emergency’.
Karan Johar recently attended the Express Adda session for The Indian Express on Monday. He was asked what political event that he wishes to watch in a film. According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Karan Johar said, “The Emergency is being made and I am excited to watch it.” The film is directed by Kangana Ranaut and will essay the lead role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

KJo also spoke about how Bollywood producers present bloated trade figures to make their films appear as blockbusters at the box office. He said, “We are all liars. We are all big fat liars.” At the event, he also claimed that his recent venture ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ performed well, but Kangana Ranaut raised questions on the credibility of the figures provided.
Recently, Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Audience can't be fooled anymore. They have rejected atrocious and creatively poor films full of fake sets and over the top fake costumes, who dresses like this in real life also where are tacky houses like those in Delhi??? What rubbish!!!! Shame on Karan Johar for copying his own vintage movies of the nineties… also how come he spend 250 cr on this stupidity? Who gives them this kind of money's while real talent struggle to get funds !!!” However, Karan Johar has stopped reacting to her claims or comments.

Karan Johar’s latest release ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ performed well at the box office and starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The film also featured Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
