Aarushi Nishank has been basking in the success of her latest production release Life Hill Gayi. The web series, which released on Disney Plus Hotstar, has gained a lot of popularity for its gripping storyline. The show revolves around siblings, who turned rivals after they have been put into an inheritance race.  The comedy-drama stars Kabir Bedi, Divyendu Sharma, Kusha Kapila, Mukti Mohan, Vinay Pathak and Vanshika Taparia in key roles. The team of Life Hill Gayi has been busy promoting the web show including producer Aarushi Nishank. During one such interview of her, the producer made a controversial statement against the renowned filmmaker Karan Johar.

In a chat with Filmygyan, the actress-turned-producer recently was asked about her views and to label Karan Johar with a hashtag. To which Aarushi replied, “The flag bearer of Nepotism”.

This is not the first time, who has called Karan Johar ‘The Flag Barrer Of Nepotism’. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut called Karan ‘movie mafia’ and ‘The Flag Barrer Of Nepotism’ in the fifth season of Koffee With Karan. After this statement, the debate of ‘nepotism’ became a huge debate in Bollywood. This also caused never-ending rivalry between Kangana and Karan.

Earlier this year during the world premiere of his film Kill at the Toronto International Film Festival, Karan was asked about his views on being labelled as ‘nepo mafia.’ Replying to which, the filmmaker said, “You criticise us for everything. You curse us. You speak about the fact that we support and encourage nepotism, nepo babies, all the flak that comes to us. I wanna say if you give us the flak, then today give us the credit. Lakshya is a rank outsider. This is a very expensive film mounted entirely on him.”
