Kareena Kapoor Discusses Her Interfaith Marriage With Saif Ali Khan: During a recent interview in Mumbai, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan talked about her marriage to Saif Ali Khan. She mentioned that she didn't focus on their age gap or their different religious backgrounds. Kareena also expressed that people tend to excessively discuss interfaith relationships, but in her view, it is not a significant issue.

When Kareena was questioned about her response to the critics who had trolled her due to their age gap, she told Indian Express, "When has age ever mattered, he is hotter than ever. I am happy I am 10 years younger; he should be worried. No one would say he has turned 53. Age does not matter, what matters is respect and love and the fact that we have fun with each other."

The 'Jab We Met' actor also mentioned that Saif used to have reservations about not being able to keep up with her energy levels. He would jokingly ask if she intended to stay out partying until 3 in the morning. However, she revealed that they have now synchronised their routines, and typically, their days conclude by 11:30 p.m.

Kareena added, "We spend so much time discussing interfaith (relationships). So much energy, so much that they are 10 years apart. The important thing is to have fun. The most important thing between Saif and I is that we like each other and enjoy our company. How should it matter what faith he follows or what his age is that is not even a point of discussion."

Kareena Kapoor On OTT Actors Making Waves:

Regarding her professional endeavours, Kareena is poised to mark her debut in the world of OTT with Sujoy Ghosh's Netflix film 'Jaane Jaan,' scheduled for release on September 21. The movie also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, and Lin Laishram.

This film is an adaptation of the acclaimed Japanese novel called 'The Devotion of Suspect X.' During the same interview, she said, "The good thing is he has always pushed me to challenge myself. After the babies also he has always told me to choose scripts that require you and show your talent and passion. It is nice of him to push me on that director.

"When I said that I am working with Jaideep and Vijay, they are trained in a different way and somehow, I feel this whole generation of OTT actors are giving the big stars a run for their money in terms of their performance. I think he meant it in a good way when he said be a lot more focused, and be on your toes working with Jaideep and Vijay because they are so good. I think that was really good advice. And he is also a fantastic actor."

To jog your memory, Kareena had earlier said, "Saif had told me, 'It's not like van se make-up laga kar tum set pe jaake dialogue bologi! Please stop this attitude. You are working with Jaideep and Vijay. Be prepared to be on your toes. They are going to be improvising. It won't be a picnic'. So, he had warned me. Hence, like a student, I was constantly alert. Saif even said, 'Stop being the backbencher. Aage ke bench mein aake kuch karo'. I was like, Yeah, yeah'!"
