Kareena Kapoor Khan has completed 25 years in the industry. The actress is currently basking in the success of her latest released movie The Buckingham Murders. However, a film festival is being planned in Kareena's honour to celebrate her remarkable two-decade-long journey in Bollywood. 

For the first time ever, a film festival is being held to honour the remarkable career of Kareena Kapoor Khan. This is a rare distinction, previously only given to cinematic legends like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. The Kareena Kapoor Khan Film Festival will be a special event, happening in multiple cities across the country. 

The festival will give audiences a unique chance to watch her most iconic movies on the big screen once again. The timing of this festival couldn't be better, as it coincides with the release of her new film The Buckingham Murders. This festival is a celebration of Kareena's contributions to Indian cinema and her passion for storytelling.

About the Buckingham Murders

The Buckingham Murders made its debut at the prestigious 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2023. It later opened the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on October 27. The film was released in theatres on September 13, 2024, marking its official theatrical release.

Talking about her movie, Kareena took to her Instagram handle and shared throwback pictures from the set.
