Kareena Kapoor Khan's latest cinematic endeavour, The Buckingham Murders, has been garnering unparalleled success. On Day 1 of its release, the movie boasted impressive box office numbers and garnered widespread critical acclaim from fans and critics alike. This film has been hailed as Kapoor's most critically acclaimed project to date.

The accolades haven't just come from fans and critics; her husband, Saif Ali Khan, has also expressed his admiration for Kareena's stellar performance. In a recent interview, Saif shared, "I am really excited about The Buckingham Murders. Although I've been preoccupied promoting my own film, Devara, the glimpses I've seen have left me impressed. She has truly outdone herself – she's killed it! I extend my best wishes to the entire team."

Kareena Kapoor Khan made her production debut with this film, co-producing it with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. She drew inspiration for her role from Kate Winslet's character in the miniseries Mare of Easttown. The film is a bilingual project, with 80 per cent of the dialogue in English and the remaining in Hindi, featuring a mix of Indian and British talent, including Keith Allen in a supporting role.

The Buckingham Murders made its debut at the prestigious 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2023. It later opened the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on October 27. The film was released in theatres on September 13, 2024, marking its official theatrical release.

Talking about her movie, Kareena took to her Instagram handle and shared throwback pictures from the set.
