Gaami (Zee5)

The Telugu-language epic adventure thriller, marking the directorial debut of Vidyadhar Kagita, stars Vishwak Sen, Chandini Chowdary, Abhinaya, Harika Pedada, and Mohammad Samad. The film began with a crowdfunding campaign and was produced by Karthik Sabareesh under Karthik Kult.

Jaane Jaan (Netflix)

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film is adapted from Keigo Higashino's 2005 Japanese novel 'The Devotion of Suspect X.' It features Kareena Kapoor Khan as a single mother embroiled in a murder case, with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma also in key roles. Produced by 12th Street Entertainment and Northern Lights Films in collaboration with Kross Pictures and Balaji Motion Pictures, the film garnered positive reviews for its cast performances and set records as Netflix's highest-viewed Indian film during its opening weekend, amassing over 20 million views and topping global viewing hours for Indian films.

Mirzapur 3 (Amazon Prime Video)

Produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, the series is set in the town of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh. The show revolves around Akhandanand Tripathi, or Kaleen Bhaiyya, a powerful mobster and businessman with ambitions of total control over the town. The cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Meghna Malik, and Manu Rishi Chadha. The third season premiered in July.

Bhakshak (Netflix)

Inspired by the Muzaffarpur shelter case, it is directed by Pulkit and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, and Sai Tamhankar. The plot centers on Vaishali, a journalist who uncovers horrific abuse at a shelter home. As she delves into the story, she encounters numerous challenges, including threats to her family. With the help of a brave girl named Sudha and a dedicated police officer, SS Jasmeet Kaur, Vaishali strives to bring the truth to light and confront the powerful figures behind the abuse. Apurva (Disney+ Hotstar)

The survival thriller directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Murad Khetani, features Tara Sutaria in the lead role, with Rajpal Yadav, Abhishek Banerjee, and Dhairya Karwa in supporting roles. Set in Chambal, the story centers on an ordinary woman who encounters extraordinary challenges and will go to great lengths to survive.

Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout (Zee5)

Directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, the film stars Manoj Bajpayee, Prachi Desai, and Parul Gulati, marking her Hindi film debut. This sequel to Silence...Can You Hear It? (2021) follows ACP Avinash Verma and his team as they investigate a mass shooting at Mumbai's Night Owl Bar. As they delve deeper, they uncover a much larger and darker conspiracy.

Maharaja (Netflix)

Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, who co-wrote the screenplay with Raam Murali, the film features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, supported by Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhirami Gopikumar, and others. Released worldwide on June 14, 2024, Maharaja received positive reviews for Sethupathi's performance, Swaminathan's direction, and Philomin Raj's editing. The film achieved the highest opening weekend for Tamil cinema in 2024 and became the fourth highest-grossing Tamil film of the year.
