Kartik Aaryan returns to the silver screen with another promising role in Kabir Khan's upcoming directorial 'Chandu Champion.' The upcoming sports drama is produced by Sajid Nadidadwala and will be released in July 2024.
Based on a real-life incident, the official first look of the actor in the film was released today by the makers showcasing Kartik Aaryan in an intense avatar. Kartik Aaryan can be seen wearing a dark blue blazer with 'India' written on it.
Sharing his first look from the film, Kartik Aaryan took to his Instagram and wrote, "When INDIA is written on your chest, it's a DIFFERENT feeling, Proud to be playing a Real Hero, A Man Who Refuses To Give Up."

Although the film will revolve around the lead actor, it has several other characters pivotal to the narrative with the makers bringing a slew of excellent actors on board. The film will also feature Bhuvan Arora, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles and has reportedly roped in debutant actress Bhagyashree as the female lead.
'Chandu Champion' promises to deliver a captivating tale of resilience and determination of the real-life journey of paralympic champion Murlikant Petkar. Kartik Aaryan had to undergo a rigorous physical transformation for the role and has extensively been trained by a special team from Los Angeles.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the actor confessed the role to be the most challenging character in his career. The report stated, "It's a prep-heavy film, and Kartik has gone all out to give his best. It's the most challenging character he has played so far, and he is leaving no stone unturned to make it memorable. The makers are planning to reveal his first look officially sometime this week."

The first schedule of the film is complete with the expected wrap of the film to be done by January 2024. Talking about the professional front of Kartik Aaryan, the actor will next be seen in Anurag Basu's 'Aashiqui 3.'
