Kartik Aaryan Shares He Would Not Be Able To Focus On Acting If He Was An Actress

Kartik Aaryan has shared screen space with several actresses like Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Kiara Advani, Tabu and Nushrat Bharucha in movies like Luka Chuppi, Love Aaj Kal 2, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The actor recently admitted that female counterparts put in more effort than the male. He shared that he can’t imagine himself in the shoes of a heroine’s life as it is a big task. Kartik further asserted that he would get nervous if he would have been an actress. 

In the podcast Be A Man Yaar, Kartik said “I have never said this but a lot of efforts are made by all my female co-stars especially. Bahut extra mehnat karne padti hai, hum logo se zyada (They have to work harder than us). For them it isn’t just about talent or the looks.”

“I can’t imagine myself wearing stilettos, managing my flipping hair and dancing all at the same time while also giving expressions and thinking about the scene. They have so many external factors. If I had to do all of this I would have gotten nervous. I wouldn’t have been able to focus on acting. I also feel that their thought process is very broad. Their hard work is much more than ours I feel,” the actor added.
