Karwa Chauth, a revered tradition honouring the sacred bond between husbands and wives, is being joyously celebrated across India, with diverse customs and rituals that continue to adapt and flourish with each passing year. As the country comes together to observe this auspicious day, Bollywood's leading ladies also joined in, wholeheartedly embracing the age-old tradition. Several actors fasted throughout the day, praying for the well-being, happiness, and long life of their beloved partners. The fasting comes to an end until the first glimpse of the moon. Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha gave her fans a glimpse into her Karwa Chauth celebrations, first sharing stunning pictures of herself dressed in bridal red. Later, she posted a humorous reel on Instagram, showcasing her lighthearted take on observing the traditional fast.
In the video, Sonakshi, adorned in a light pink embroidered outfit and a traditional floral gajra, sits beside husband Zaheer Iqbal, who's engrossed in his phone. The clip begins with Sonakshi playfully adjusting the gajra and affectionately calling Zaheer Jaan. When Zaheer looks up, inquiring about her actions, Sonakshi candidly confesses her hunger, prompting their shared laughter.
Sonakshi captioned the post, “Find a pati who won't let you starve alone… whatever his reason may be Happy Karwa Chauth… our first.”
Raveena Tandon
Raveena Tandon also shared glimpses from her Karwa Chauth celebrations. The actress looked gorgeous in an ivory-coloured ethnic ensemble. She styled it with a red-coloured dupatta and a pair of earrings. Raveena posed for pictures alongside Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Bhavna Pandey and more.

I’d also wake up for the sargi. I found it fascinating! All that while thinking to myself, I want this,For me. So today, I tick one more thing off my bucket list.
