Katrina Kaif recently shared a surprising revelation about her role in the film 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', which starred Ranbir Kapoor alongside Minisha Lamba, Bipasha Basu, and Deepika Padukone. In a conversation with Mid Day, Katrina disclosed that she was initially cast as the fourth girl in the movie but her part was eventually cut from the final script.

Directed by Siddharth Anand and released in 2008, 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' follows the story of Ranbir Kapoor's character, a young man who experiences love and growth through encounters with three different women at various stages of his life.

Katrina also expressed her desire to play Anushka Sharma's role in Anand L. Rai's 'Zero', which starred Shah Rukh Khan. In 'Zero', Katrina portrayed the character of a superstar named Babita, who develops a relationship with Shah Rukh's character, Bauua Singh. Despite Katrina's performance receiving praise, the film underperformed at the box office.

Interestingly, during the filming of 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone began dating, but they broke up in 2009. Subsequently, Katrina and Ranbir worked together in the romantic comedy 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', sparking rumours of a romance between them. They also appeared in 'Raajneeti' and 'Jagga Jasoos' before parting ways in 2016.
