Song Joong Ki and his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, have expanded their family with the arrival of their second child, a baby girl. The actor shared the joyous news on November 20 from Rome, where Katy gave birth. Taking to his fan cafe, the Vincenzo star penned a heartfelt note expressing his gratitude and happiness. "I’m incredibly grateful to announce that we’ve been blessed with another beautiful baby. Our lovely princess was born healthy, and both my wife and our baby are doing well and resting," he wrote.

The couple first announced their second pregnancy in July this year. This new addition comes just a year after they welcomed their first child, a son, in June 2023. Song Joong Ki also shared a sweet photo of his daughter’s tiny hand with fans, reminiscent of a similar gesture when his son was born.

Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Saunders, a British actress, crossed paths in 2023 through a mutual friend. Their friendship soon blossomed into a romantic relationship, which they confirmed in December 2022. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony on January 30, 2023.

Over the years, Song Joong Ki has shown his protective side, urging the paparazzi to respect his family’s privacy. He has often been seen enjoying outings with his wife and children, embracing fatherhood with devotion. On the professional front, Song Joong Ki made waves this year with his performances in two films, My Name is Loh Kiwan and Bogota: The City of Lost. Fans can look forward to his return to the small screen in 2025 with the healing romance drama My Youth.
