Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 is making waves with its high-octane stunts and behind-the-scenes drama. A notable incident involved Asim Riaz losing his temper during the early episodes, which led to a heated confrontation with both his co-contestants and host Rohit Shetty. In a recent podcast with Shardul Pandit, co-contestant Niyati Fatnani revealed that the aired footage was significantly edited. She described the actual event as much more intense, with Asim’s angry outburst being far more dramatic than what viewers saw on TV. The unfiltered moments were far more explosive than the final broadcast suggested.

Niyati revealed, despite Asim Riaz's rude comments, Rohit chose not to retaliate. The situation escalated to the point where Rohit's bodyguards had to position themselves around him as a precaution while Asim continued his outburst. Niyati stated, "He (Rohit) could have said a lot of things, but he chose not to. His bodyguards were around, as Asim was really close to sir, talking rudely."

Asim Riaz-Rohit Shetty's incident

The conflict erupted after Asim Riaz failed to complete a task on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, while his co-contestants Aashish Mehrotra and Niyati Fatnani succeeded. Frustrated by his failure, Asim declared the challenge impossible and challenged the show’s team to complete it in front of him, stating he wouldn't accept any payment from the show. Rohit Shetty confronted Asim, reprimanding him for his behaviour: “Kal bhi tune bahot bakwaas ki (Yesterday, you also spoke a lot of nonsense). Sun meri baat sunle warna mei utha ke yahin patak dunga. Aise mere se badtameezi nahi karna (Listen to me, or I will throw you out. Don't be disrespectful here).”

Asim then advanced towards Rohit but was restrained by the team. His defensive reaction and further clashes with Abhishek Kumar and Shalin Bhanot intensified the situation. He was later asked to leave the show.

Meanwhile, the current season features contestants including Shalin Bhanot, Shilpa Shinde, Sumona Chakravarti, Karanveer Mehra, Gashmeer Mahajani, Niyati Fatnani, Aashish Mehrotra, Krishna Shroff, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Aditi Sharma, and Abhishek Kumar.
