Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra announced their first pregnancy today in an Instagram post. They were making headlines for the pregnancy rumours for the past few days. Well, the actors have put an end to the speculations by sharing the good news. Kiara and Sidharth in a joint post shared a picture of a pair of woollen socks while announcing that they are expecting their first child. They captioned the Instagram post by writing, “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon.” 

Soon, fans and celebrities started extending their good wishes to the couple. Ishaan Khatter wrote, “Congrats guys! And bless up, lil one! Safe journey.” Sharvari Wagh commented, “Congratulations.” Sophie Choudry said, “Awww huge congratulations you guys and God bless.” Huma Qureshi commented, “Omg congratulations.” While fans shared long notes to extend their good wishes to the couple. A user said, “Zindagi ki sabse badi khush khabri. god bless you.” Another user wrote, “Friday special they share best News.” Another said, “Sobbing rn . Witnessing you both becoming best friends- becoming GF and BF- becoming husband and wife- becoming Mumma and Papa. This is the best journey.” A comment read, “This is so, I don't know what to say,unable to digest.” 

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra tied knot in February 2023, years after dating each other. They met for the first time on the success party of Lust Stories which starred Kiara in a pivotal role. Later, they appeared in the 2021 movie Shershaah, where their chemistry was widely appreciated by the audience. The film was based on the life of Kargil war hero and martyred Vikran Batra. In this movie, Kiara played the role of his love interest. Since the release of the movie, they were often teased with each other’s name during promotions of the film. But they never accepted or denied their relationship, until they posted their wedding pictures.
