Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Hae In, two of the most beloved actors in the Korean entertainment industry, have once again delighted fans with their endearing friendship. The duo, known for their off-screen camaraderie, recently had fans buzzing with laughter over a hilarious moment from G-Dragon’s variety show Good Day.

The playful banter between Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Hae In originally started with a viral social media edit. In September 2024, South Korean streaming platform TVING shared a humorous clip that mashed up scenes from Queen of Tears and Love Next Door.

The edited video made it seem like Kim Soo Hyun, who played Baek Hyun Woo in Queen of Tears, was calling out “Hae In,” a reference to his on-screen wife Hong Hae In, while Jung Hae In’s character from Love Next Door responded with “Why?”—creating an amusing back-and-forth illusion. Jung Hae In even joined in on the joke by commenting “Why?” on TVING’s post, making the playful interaction go viral among fans.

However, the joke took on a life of its own when the two actors appeared together on Good Day. In a newly released clip from the upcoming episode, Kim Soo Hyun playfully calls out “Hae In” in the same manner as in Queen of Tears, and this time, Jung Hae In is there in person to respond.

The D.P. star hilariously reacts by calling out to Soo Hyun and saying, “Stop calling me!”—a moment that instantly had everyone on set bursting into laughter. Fans couldn’t get enough of their natural chemistry and were overjoyed to finally see the two actors sharing screen space, even in a variety show format.
