Their lively banter led to Sam Bahadur actor unveiling several insights into his married life with actress Katrina Kaif, including the affectionate names the latter uses for him at home and the special gift he gave her on their first anniversary. Also, Kiara revealed intriguing details about Sidharth Malhotra's proposal and his viral 'watch' gesture at their wedding, making the episode a must-watch for entertainment enthusiasts.

Vicky Kaushal's proposal story

Vicky proposed to Katrina just a day before their marriage. Yes, thats right. Detailing about the same, he said, "It was not so dramatic. It was not so well planned. It was very last minute. I had been warned by everybody that if you don't propose, it's something you'll have to be prepared for the rest of your life that you got to hear about it. I did that one day before the wedding It was dinner just before any of the friends and families could come. They were all coming the next day so it was just us." Sidharth Malhotra's 'Watch' Gesture

Around nine months ago, the news of Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra tying the knot in a private Rajasthan ceremony took everyone by surprise, followed by the release of their wedding video, filled with heartwarming moments. During her conversation with Karan Johar and Vicky, Kiara shared the backstory behind Shershaah actor's 'watch' gesture. "It was so intimate wedding; they were so filmy when they met. I didn’t know that any of this was planned," Karan shared hinting at Kiara-Sid wedding teaser.

Responding to it, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actress said that it was an edited shot to which KJo replied, "That was edited because you were very late Kiara." In her defense, Kiara added, the baraat was early. "It was the earliest baraat". Karan laughed, "You know how Punjabis are at the baaraat. The baaraat was filled with such vigour and energy which kept increasing. But then it reached a point where we were like, koi Kiara ko bulaao ab. Kab aayegi. It was getting so hot and all of us were tired. Everyone was actually giving gaalis to Kiara but when she came, she was looking so beautiful that it was all forgotten."

"I was getting ready and we had some issues and I wanted to get some pictures with the bridesmaids. I don’t have any pictures. They have put up a photo on Instagram with all of them saying, ‘We swear there was a bride’ because we didn’t get a picture. I was late," Kiara said, clarifying the reason behind her husband's glance at his watch and then at her while she walked down the aisle, resplendent in her bridal attire.

How Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif escape dull party

In situations where Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif find themselves in a dull gatherings, the actress has a subtle way of signaling to Vicky that she wants to leave. The actor elaborated, saying, "She'll tightly hold my hand, and I'll be like, 'What happened?' in surprise." Karan added humorously that since Katrina doesn't leave anywhere, she must be holding his hand like that every day!

"My first-anniversary gift to her was a piece of art. And, I've never really understood it. First, I was like, 'huh?' and those things are expensive so I was like, 'I'll hang there instead' (laughs).' But then she made me ease into it and showed me a lot of things and then I genuinely kind of got into it. Now that wall is my favorite wall in my house."

Vicky praises Shah Rukh Khan

Vicky Kaushal shared a heartwarming anecdote about his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of their upcoming film, 'Dunki.' Vicky recalled a shoot day when SRK couldn't be present, and Vicky had to work with a body double. Later that night, Shah Rukh called Vicky, expressing regret for missing the scene and insisting on reshooting it. "Late in the night, he (SRK) called which I missed because there was an event and then he messaged me saying 'Vicky, we'll do that shot again. I'm really sorry I missed that. I couldn't be there to give just the cues.' I had to call him and convince him that Raju Sir was happy and it went okay, there is no need but he was like 'no we will do it again.' Next day, he came on set, he saw those shots, he was happy with those shots and only then he was okay that 'we don't have to reshoot because I couldn't be there to give my shoulder in the shot.' That's him."
