As per a report from Sacnilk, 'Kushi' made an impressive debut at the box office on its opening day. The film managed to accumulate a commendable Rs 16.00 crore in net earnings across India for all languages (based on early estimates). On Friday, September 1, 2023, 'Kushi' exhibited a substantial 59.13% occupancy in Telugu regions and a notable 40.12% occupancy in Tamil regions.

According to Pinkvilla's report, it's been stated that Vijay Deverakonda, the lead actor in 'Kushi,' received a substantial Rs 23 crore for his role in the film. Conversely, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, portraying Aradhya under Shiva Nirvana's direction, was reportedly compensated Rs 4.5 crore.

The movie hit the screens a week prior to the highly anticipated release of Shah Rukh Khan's film, 'Jawan,' which poses a potential challenge to its box office performance. Additionally, it appears that 'Kushi' had to contend with piracy issues on its opening day.

'Kushi' faced numerous delays on its journey to theaters. Initially scheduled for a December 2022 launch, it experienced delays primarily stemming from production hurdles, leading to a rescheduled release date in February 2023. Eventually, the film's release was postponed once again, with its grand premiere finally taking place on September 1st. This much-anticipated film was unveiled in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and a Hindi-dubbed version.
Meanwhile, the film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Ponvannan, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Jayaram, Rahul Ramakrishna, Ali, Srikanth Iyengar, Bharath Reddy and Sharanya Pradeep.
