Urfi Javed gained recognition for her roles in various television shows and appearances in reality TV programs. She began her career with 'Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania' in 2016, where she portrayed the character of Avni Pant. The actress garnered further attention with her participation in reality TV shows like 'Bigg Boss OTT' and 'Ace of Space 2.' Now recognised as a social media influencer, Urfi was questioned about the possibility of returning to TV acting and she promptly declined, citing negative past experiences.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she expressed her dissatisfaction with her time in the TV industry, describing it as "not good at all." She highlighted issues such as inadequate treatment and unfavorable working conditions, particularly for non-lead actors. "If you are not a lead actor, then it is very difficult. They don’t treat you nicely at all. on some sets, they behave very badly. Kutton ki tarah treat karte hain (They treat you like animals). Some production houses are terrible," Urfi said.
Urfi recounted instances of delayed or insufficient payments during her time in the TV industry. "I was in a very bad state working in TV. I was anyway playing a side character. They made me cry a lot," she said, adding, "I don’t think I will go to Bigg Boss now. It was a very fruitful opportunity. I am very grateful to the makers and I am very grateful that I got that opportunity because everything got started after that but I don’t think I can do it again."

Meanwhile, Urfi Javed has been transparent about her experiences with fillers and Botox, often sharing updates on her journey with her followers. In a recent Instagram post, she bravely addressed concerns about her swollen face by posting pictures and writing a lengthy caption. "I’ve been getting so many remarks with my face that I’ve gone overboard with my fillers! I have major major allergies, my face is swollen most of the time. I wake up like this every second day, and my face is always swollen. I’m always in extreme discomfort. Fillers nahi hai guys, allergies hai."
She continued, "Immunotherapy chalu hai but if you next see me with a swollen face. Just now I’m going through one of those bad allergy days, I’ve not gotten anything done except of course my usual fillers and Botox which I’ve been getting since I was 18. If you see my face swollen don’t advise me not to get more fillers just sympathise and move on."
