The second instalment of the Lucifer trilogy,  L2 Empuraan is about the journey of Stephen Nedumpally, an enigmatic leader who runs a powerful crime syndicate. The film stars Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Caroline Koziol, Rick Yune, Jerome Flynn, Andrea Tivadar, Eriq Ebouaney, Tovino Thomas, Abhimanyu Singh and Manju Warrier in pivotal roles. It has been directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and produced by Antony Perumbavoor, A Subaskaran, Gokulam Gopalan, Subaskaran Allirajah.
