Laila OTT Release Update: The Telugu action-comedy film Laila, featuring Vishwak Sen, was released in theaters on February 14. Directed by Ram Narayan and produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, the movie has garnered mixed reviews. Vishwak Sen's dual role, in particular, failed to meet audience expectations, with many criticizing the plot. Akanksha Sharma plays the female lead. The film is now set to make its digital debut within a month of its theatrical release.

Laila OTT Release Update

As per reports, Vishwak Sen’s Tamil movie to soon stream on OTT. After its brief theatrical run, Laila will be available for streaming on Aha from March 7. The official announcement about the same has not been made yet by the makers.

About Laila Movie: Plot and Cast 

The movie centers on Sonu (played by Vishwak Sen), a renowned beautician who works as a hairdresser in his own studio. He is also an aspiring model and enjoys popularity with the women in his neighborhood. After a confrontation with the local goon Rustum (Abhimanyu Singh) and SI Shankar (Babloo Prithviraj), Sonu faces tension and is forced to take action to save himself. He disguises himself as Laila and uses his charm and clever thinking to navigate the chaos and drama around him. This transformation leads to chaotic situations, resulting in a comedic and action-packed series of events. Vishwak Sen plays a dual role, while Akanksha Sharma stars as Jenny. The film also features Abhimanyu Singh, Vineet Kumar, and Prithviraj in pivotal roles. 

Directed by Ram Narayan and produced by Sahu Garapati, the screenplay was written by Vasudevamurthy Sripathi. While the film was marketed as a blend of suspense and comedy, it fell short of audience expectations, with some calling it a 'disaster.' Viewers were not impressed with the storyline. Cinematography is handled by Richard Prasad, and Leon James composed the film’s music.
