Fans of the late singer and actress Sulli will be able to see her once again in a film that she had started filming before her unfortunate passing in 2019.
The highly anticipated posthumous project of the late K-pop idol and actress Sulli, titled "Persona: Sulli," is scheduled for release on June 16. "Persona" is a collection of five films within a Netflix original anthology series that premiered in 2019, featuring IU. The series received acclaim from fans and was praised for its compelling content.

"Persona: Sulli" serves as the second chapter of the anthology series "Persona," with a specific focus on the late idol. Originally planned to consist of five short films, the series was subsequently condensed into a single special episode following Sulli's untimely demise during the production of episode 2 in October 2019.

Cast of Persona: Sulli
As a short film showcasing the late actress, Persona 2 will primarily focus on her interview. There is a possibility of additional cast members depending on the decisions made by Mystic Story, the production team. However, apart from announcing the completion of the shooting for the short film, no further details have been disclosed by the team regarding its release.
The late actress was previously associated with SM Entertainment's K-pop girl group f(x). She gained recognition through her appearances in various dramas such as "To The Beautiful You," "Hotel Del Luna," "Ballad of Seo Dong," and more. Additionally, she showcased her talent in films like "Fashion King," "Real," "I AM," and others.
As of now, neither Netflix nor Mystic Story has released an official trailer for the upcoming short film yet. However, a sneak peek from the filming of the late idol's personal photo album "Love, Myself" from 2018 is circulating on social media. The clip, which is also accessible on Netflix, features her giving an interview for the short film, where she had expressed: "I wondered what my role could be in that small world, what it be like to build a relationship, and what people my age had in their minds, this thing FAME, it show up abruptly, i understand to be famous but I was scared too."
Sulli's Untimely Demise
On October 14, 2019, the idol tragically passed away, and according to The Korean Herald, her death was attributed to suicide, resulting from the severe depression she experienced due to relentless cyberbullying. Both the K-drama and K-pop communities are now preparing to honour the idol's memory by watching her short film, Persona 2.
