Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently one of the most popular and successful directors as he has given several back-to-back blockbusters. He is basking in the success of his action film 'Leo', which starred Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. Despite receiving a lot of love and appreciation for 'Leo', fans criticised the long runtime and second half of the movie. Lokesh has finally reacted to the criticism and backlash he received for 'Leo' and said that he has taken note of it.

While promoting his maiden production 'Fight Club', Lokesh told the media, "I have heard about the criticism on Leo’s second half and I have taken note of it and I’ll be more careful for my next project with Rajinikanth sir."

'Leo' revolves around Parthiban, a cafe owner in Kashmir, who gains attention from a drug cartel after he fends off a gang of murderous thugs and his past comes again to haunt him after this incident. Apart from Thalapathy Vijay, the movie also stars Trisha and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.

'Leo' is the third instalment of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Cinematic Universe aka LCU. Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' and Karthi's 'Kaithi' are also part of the same universe. The movie also stars Priya Anand, Arjun and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles.

Lokesh recently launched his own production venture 'G Squad' and penned a note on social media for his fans. He wrote, "After directing 5 films, I am delighted to announce the launch of my production venture - G Squad, dedicated to redefining the landscape of storytelling and entertainment. The first few productions will feature the work of my close friends and assistants to encourage and promote their creative ideas. I sincerely wish that you all watch, enjoy, and shower the same support that you all have given me so far. Keep calm and wait for the update of our first production venture.
