Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti-starrer web series 'Asur' is finally back with its second season and has impressed the audience with its interesting storyline and performance by the star cast. 'Asur 2' is a combination of mythology and modern science with a hint of a dystopian society.

1. Leila:

Starring Huma Qureshi in the lead role, 'Leila' revolves around Shalini, who tries to find her missing daughter in a totalitarian regime in the near future. It also stars Siddharth, Rahul Khanna, Sanjay Suri and Arif Zakaria. Set in the 2040s, 'Leila' showcases a dystopian society and is based on the novel by Prayaag Akbar of the same name.

2. Ghoul:

'Ghoul' is based on the Arab folklore monster ghoul and is streaming on Netflix. Starring Radhika Apte in the lead role, 'Ghoul' revolves around Nid Rahim, who has been tasked to interrogate the most dreaded terrorist, Ali Saeed. During the interrogation, Nida figures out that Ali Saeed is possessed by some supernatural entity.

3. Sacred Games:

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, 'Sacred Games' is India's first Netflix original series. It stars Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Sartaj Singh and gangster Ganesh Gaitonde respectively. It revolves around a police officer, Sartaj Singh, who receives a phone call from gangster Gaitonde, who tells him to save Mumbai within 25 days.

4. Dahan:

'Dahan' revolves around a disgraced IAS Officer, who sets out to vindicate herself and takes up a strange case in Shilaspura, a land with occult practices. It stars Tisca Chopra, Saurabh Shukla, Rohan Joshi, and Rajesh Tailang and is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

5. Paatal Lok:

'Paatal Lok' is inspired by Swarga, Dharti and Paatal (heaven, earth and hell) and talks about the different classes of India. It stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, Ishwak Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee and is streaming on Prime Video.
