NMIXX’s Haewon recently made waves with her candid confession about her ideal type during her appearance on the variety show You Quiz. The episode, which also featured Ailee, Park Jinjoo and Mijoo, took a playful turn when Haewon was asked about her preferences in an ideal partner.

Initially caught off guard by the unexpected question from Park Jinjoo, Haewon took a moment to gather her thoughts before responding. She described her ideal type as a "cute person," a safe and general answer to avoid any unintended implications. However, the hosts weren’t satisfied with the vague reply and pressed her further for a specific name.

After much encouragement, Haewon finally revealed, "Someone like Byeon Woo Seok sunbaenim (senior)." The cast erupted with excitement at her choice, as Byeon Woo Seok has become a national heartthrob following his roles in the hit dramas Lovely Runner (2024) and Strong Girl Nam Soon (2023). Yoo Jae Suk, the show’s host, humorously teased Haewon, telling her to stop talking before her words caused a frenzy among fans.

The lighthearted moment didn’t end there. Ailee and Park Jinjoo joined in on the fun, playfully teasing Haewon by mimicking "cute" gestures. Haewon initially hesitated to name anyone, possibly mindful of the fan speculation that often follows such remarks. However, the cast assured her that it was all in good fun and that naming someone wouldn’t spark any dating rumours. This reassurance encouraged her to share her admiration for Byeon Woo Seok, who is widely recognized for his good looks and charming personality.

Adding to the entertainment, Haewon and her fellow guests performed a heartfelt rendition of Kim Yeon Woo’s Still Beautiful as part of NMIXX’s newly introduced unit, Winter Dreamgirls. Their performance showcased their vocal talents and added a musical highlight to the episode.

Fans of both NMIXX and Byeon Woo Seok were quick to react to Haewon’s confession, flooding social media with comments like “Oh my God, same!” and “Haewon has great taste!”
