Huma Qureshi is all set to return in her boldest avatar yet as Rani Bharati in Maharani Season 4. The makers of the popular political drama recently released the teaser, offering a glimpse of her character’s transformation into a fearless leader determined to protect Bihar at all costs.
The teaser builds intrigue with Huma Qureshi at the centre of the story. As Rani Bharati, she sits with an intense gaze, ready to face new challenges in the power-hungry world of politics. The clip features her powerful dialogue, where she recalls being labelled as illiterate and even a murderer, while some saw her as a future Prime Minister.
However, she makes her priorities clear, saying, “Aur Bihar hi humara pariwar hai. Aur agar koi Bihar ko nuksaan pauchega, toh satta hila denge” (Bihar is my true family. And if anyone dares to harm my family, I will shake the very foundation of power).

This season hints at even bigger political struggles, betrayals, and a battle for dominance. While the teaser keeps the fate of other characters under wraps, it promises an intense narrative with Rani Bharati at its core. The official release date is yet to be announced.
Maharani debuted on SonyLIV in 2021, followed by a second season in 2022 and a third season on March 7, 2024. Inspired by real-life political events in Bihar, the show has received critical acclaim for its gripping storyline and Huma Qureshi’s powerful performance.
Created by Subhash Kapoor and directed by Saurabh Bhave, the show is written by Subhash Kapoor, Nandan Singh, and Umashankar Singh. The ensemble cast includes Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Anuja Sathe, Sushil Pandey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Sohum Shah.
In a past interview, Huma credited Maharani for redefining her career. She expressed that the show gave audiences a fresh perspective on her acting abilities. “I can clearly define my career pre and post-Maharani. It made people take notice of my potential, and now we’re heading into Season 4. More than me, this success has given creators confidence in me,” she said.
